The Electrical Design Engineer is within our R&D  department and based at Breas global headquarter in Mölnlycke, Sweden. Breas Medical is owned by Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. that is traded on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

Finally the opportunity has come, if you are a skilled Electrical Design Engineer?
You love the responsibility in design & development of Electrical Hardware of our new products and support with our existing Breas product line. This covering everything from new design  or re-design of circuits boards and electronics, including thermal and reliability considerations for operation. Component selection and specification in compliance with regulatory and standard requirements. Testing & verification of design for safety and performance.

You will be part of planning, coordination and executing Electrical Hardware development activities with the design team, in projects & subprojects. Also ensuring design controls according to requirements and providing expertise in Electrical Hardware development, including investigates new technologies as part of a team.

As expert in your specialist field you are proposing new technical solutions to meet customer needs. And in the same time ensuring technical, quality, regulatory compliance and towards Breas processes as well as ensure to product development process improvements. 

Additionally, the position requires leveraging commonality and supply chain resources to ensure robust material supply in production.

Finally communication comes natural for you - documentation is no problem, as well as speaking and writing fluent in Swedish & English. And you have this too:

  • Academic Engineering degree from technical university, BSc or similar with focus on electronic design
  • Electrical hardware design, experience of minimum three years
  • Knowledge of electronic CAD systems e.g. Alltium and simulation tools
  • Embedded design development experience
  • Design and verification testing
  • Provide expertise or exerience in one or more of the following domains:
    - Analog signal conditioning
    - D/A and A/D conversion
    - Digital design
    - Power systems and electronics, RF design
    - FPGA, programmable circuits, CPLD
    - EMC activities
    - Motor control

This is what you will do

As our Electrical Design Engineer you will spend your days participate in projects and improving our products. Creating concepts, specifications, architecture, documentation, design development, prototyping, test, risk analysis, manufacturing transfer and service support. Drive technical activities during product development in collaboration with development & manufacturing partners.

Of course participate in technical reviews and contributing to tech discussions. Investigate defects and deviations in products & design. Participate and drive continuous improvement activities by supporting the implementation of process & product quality improvement initiatives.

Naturally support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design transfer/Program deliverables.

Last but important you will have continuous interaction with production, technical support, suppliers, sub-suppliers, participate and drive the development of internal processes.
