As one of our key talents, you will be joining at a very exciting stage of our journey. We have just launched two new product series within our Vivo range, with a total of seven new ventilator products. These new products enable us in our strive to be our customers preferred choice and the global market leader within the mechanical ventilator product segment.

This position is responsible for leading and further developing the US operations. Position reports to  COO, Global Operations.

 The key focus of the position will be on-time delivery of ventilation and respiratory care products meeting all product requirements, quality, cost and reliability objectives. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide inspirational leadership to the operations organization
  • Make daily planning and prioritization decisions
  • Ensure quality is the center focus for your organization
  • Develop, implement and review the operational procedures and policies.
  • Promote continuous improvements in all areas
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance, an open atmosphere and high moral
  • Set and follow up very clear and measurable goals for your team
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met at all times
  • Build partnerships with all other functions

Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years hands-on Operational &  Managerial experience  required
  • Medical Device Manufacturing Operations background a must 
  • Bachelor´s degree in operations management or related field
  • Solid foundation in manufacturing / production fundamentals, procurement a plus
  • Strong foundation in manufacturing / production planning and MRP
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong communicator and listener; self-confident
  • Strong proven leadership skills and highly organized
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Experience of smaller, agile organizations with aggressive timelines.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, preferably Six sigma certified
  • Experience in the production of medical devices comprised of moderate to high complex electromechanical sub-systems and firmware/algorithms.
  • Experience interfacing with various other functional areas for establishing design transfer of new products into production and other aspects of product launch preparation.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, (P+L. balance sheet, cash flow management etc)
  • Ability of build consensus and good relationships among managers, partners and employees.
