We are looking for a Strategic Purchaser member of the Global Sourcing team based at Breas global headquarter in Mölnlycke, Sweden. Breas Medical is owned by Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. The global Sourcing team is supporting business and operations in multiple countries with manufacturing in China, USA, Sweden and UK.

Key responsibilities and tasks

As Strategic Purchaser, you will play a key part in co-developing the sourcing function to meet Breas’s goal. You will work broad with both operational and strategic sourcing activities for Direct Materials. In the daily work you will maintain the MRP e.g.: forecasts, purchase ordering and supervising order acknowledge from suppliers, in order to secure our production demand and accuracy.

You will work closely with R&D, to keep track of sourcing initiatives and head projects related for this. Also, plan and execute - together with Quality department - supplier audits. In addition, you will work with implementation of new routines and processes that need to be put in place. You will take responsibility for different commodities, where negotiation and contracting with agreements are important factors for the role. You will also ensure supply of materials to our factories with right quality and at best price.

As Strategic Purchaser, you will independently communicate with and meet suppliers in agreement with Team leader. Lead supplier negotiations and agreement discussions. Present and analyse KPI´s and initiate actions to improve. You will ensure material supply through the supply chain (from supplier to factory). Prioritize and actively work with supplier’s KPIs are fulfilled. Proactively work with suppliers to find improvements and actively lead and implement solutions. Ensure corrective and preventive actions related to the tasks. Take decision on activities needed for securing materials and optimizing inventory. Communicate supply risks/issues/status to internal stakeholders.

Experience you will bring

• 3-5 years’ experience in a Strategic Purchaser or equivalent
• BSc or MSc degree within engineering or business administration
• Experience from managing Projects

• Experience from of ERP system, preferably JDE/Oracle

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Communication skills in English and Swedish
