We are looking for a highly skilled commercial excellence leader who can drive sales performance and efficiency within our global organization worldwide by developing and implementing strategies, processes, and tools to enhance the overall success and effectiveness of our sales teams.

In this position you will be reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and you will collaborate closely with Regional Business Managers and General Managers to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the sales force is equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and training to excel in their roles.

This role is new to our company and a key position to support the transformational growth journey that we are now embarking on. Workplace location is flexible but ideally Europe. 

Key responsibilities

Sales Process Optimization

  • Analyze and streamline the sales process and go to market models to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for smoother sales operations.
  • Stay informed about sales optimization industry trends and competitors, providing insights and recommendations for maintaining a competitive advantage.
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback into sales processes to further drive improvements in customer loyalty and customer care.

Sales training and development

  • Design, develop and deliver training programs to equip and enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales teams. 
  • Responsible for sales force onboarding program, material, and trainings.
  • Closely collaborate with the “Education by Breas” team to utilize external training concepts for internal upskilling as well provide improvement feedback to this team on educational experiences from the commercial teams. 

Sales Performance analytics

  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create reports and dashboards to track KPIs.
  • Monitor KPIs to measure sales team performance and provide regular reports to CCO, Regional Sales Directors and GMs.

Sales Technology, CRM and Tools

  • Evaluate and implement sales technology solutions to support the sales team.
  • Project lead a global implementation of the CRM system, with support from IT and other key stakeholders. Ensure usability for the sales team.
  • Ensure CRM system is fully utilized and maintained accurately. Ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide CRM training to sales force and other CRM users in the organization.
  • Implement processes to improve forecasting accuracy, utilizing the CRM to drive input.

Sales incentives

  • Govern the global incentive programs.
  • Design and lead development of global sales incentive programs. Collaborate with regional teams to ensure alignment and compliance and to continuously evaluate and adapt incentive structure for maximum effect at reasonable cost.
  • Approve local financial key elements proposed by GMs in the yearly sales incentive process. 

Qualifications / Experience

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales management, sales training, or sales operations
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytic tools
  • CRM knowledge and experience
  • Able to lead and inspire teams, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good facilitation and trainer skills
  • Project management skills, foundational
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving and conceptual design ability.
  • Experience from training program design
  • Experience from Sales incentive program design/mechanisms
