Join Breas Medical's Global IT department and take on a crucial role in supporting operational users with computer hardware, network infrastructure, and implementing essential technology solutions for future growth. Your responsibilities will include providing support to team members through phone, email, or in-person interactions, assisting with hardware and software configurations, installations, and offering application support as required. Main responsibilities

  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Collaborate with Global IT department to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
  • Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation, telecom, and networking products.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and/or support tickets regarding desktop, networking, and telecom problems.
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
  • Maintain and update IT inventory records, ensuring hardware and software assets are well-tracked and accounted for.
  • Works with Global IT Team to determine daily/weekly priorities and to troubleshoot advanced technical problems.
  • Accurately document instance of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
  • Establish relationships with employees and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are delivered to meet business needs, and participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system migrations, as required.
  • Occasional emergency support and troubleshooting outside of normal works hours required.

  • Atlassian Jira Service Management
  • Additional applications as needed.

To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills.

  • Ability to be First line support to Breas Operations.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft OS, Apple iOS, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical knowledge of label printers, production printers and handheld devices.
  • Basic technical knowledge of PC internal components.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
  • Oracle JD Edwards or equivalent ERP system experience is preferred but not required.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
