We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual with valuable experience, exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, and a strong sense of self-motivation to take ownership of tasks. As a pivotal member of our Global IT department, you'll provide essential support to users, encompassing computer hardware, network infrastructure, and the implementation of technology solutions crucial for future growth. Your responsibilities will include assisting team members via phone, email, or in-person with hardware and software configurations, installations, and application support as required.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Create new hire accounts for local users following onboarding processes and setting up computers and phones for new hires using Microsoft Intune.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Collaborate with Global IT department to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
  • Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation, telecom, and networking products.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and/or support tickets regarding desktop, networking, and telecom problems.
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
  • Maintain and update IT inventory records, ensuring hardware and software assets are well-tracked and accounted for.
  • Works with Global IT Team to determine daily/weekly priorities and to troubleshoot advanced technical problems.
  • Accurately document instance of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
  • Establish relationships with employees and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are delivered to meet business needs, and participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system migrations, as required.
  • AV/Conference Room technology support using Microsoft Teams
  • Dynamics 365 administration support
  • Participate in the creation of the annual IT budget and monitor spending.

To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills.

  • Degree in Computer Science or 4 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft OS, Apple iOS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of maintaining user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID
  • Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
  • Basic technical knowledge of PC internal components
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
  • Oracle JD Edwards or equivalent ERP system experience is preferred but not required.
  • Dynamics 365 experience is preferred but not required.
  • Cisco Meraki experience is preferred but not required.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Strong customer-service orientation
