Are you our next IT Support Specialist?

As IT Support Specialist at Breas Medical Inc., you will play a vital role in the Global IT department supporting the users with our digital workspace, computer hardware, network infrastructure, and implement technology solutions necessary to support the future growth. Support to our team members via phone, email, or in-person for hardware and software configurations and installations, as well as provide application support as needed.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to IT support.
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, hardware, software, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with Global IT department to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
  • Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation, telecom, and networking products.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and/or support tickets regarding desktop, networking, and telecom problems.
  • Works with Global IT Manager to determine daily/weekly priorities and to troubleshoot advanced technical problems.
  • Occasional emergency support and troubleshooting outside of normal works hours required.

To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills.

  • First line support to Breas Medical US.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Extensive knowledge in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365/Office 365 suite.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills related to desktop computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge in Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Remote connectivity tools, Video conferencing systems, Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) environment, and hardware.
  • Technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft OS, Apple iOS, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical knowledge of label printers, production printers and handheld devices.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
