Breas Medical is on an exciting transformation journey—growing globally, modernizing our operations, and strengthening our end-to-end supply chain to meet increasing demand and drive innovation. As our Global Sourcing Director, you will play a pivotal role in this evolution.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape our global sourcing strategy, build and develop supplier partnerships, and help position Breas for sustainable growth. You’ll join a passionate, international team with a shared mission to improve lives through respiratory care—and you’ll have the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and hands-on execution in a fast-evolving, purpose-driven company.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop the Global Strategic Purchasing team.
Act as a key member of the Global Operations Leadership Team and Therapy Area Leadership Teams.
Set goals, follow up, and report on sourcing KPIs.

Cost Optimization & Commercial Negotiations

Drive total cost management: pricing, terms, lead times, raw material indices, etc.
Lead commercial supplier negotiations, including contracts and agreements.
Ensure accurate vendor master data in ERP systems.

Supplier Base & Category Strategy

Develop and implement category strategies for key material groups.
Evaluate and manage the global supplier base according to internal policies.
Lead supplier development and improvement initiatives.

Quality, ESG & Compliance

Ensure supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, and ESG requirements.
Support Supplier Quality Assurance activities in collaboration with relevant teams.
Work closely with Legal to manage supplier agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Support product development and life cycle projects from a sourcing perspective.
Collaborate closely with Planning, R&D, QA/RA, Finance, and other functions.
Act as escalation point for critical supplier issues globally.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
7+ years of experience in global procurement, including category management.
5+ years of leadership experience in an international setting, ideally within MedTech.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
Fluent in English

This position is based at Breas HQ in Mölnlycke, Sweden with a hybrid work solution.

1.4 Retention period

Breas will process Your personal data for two years and one month. Once You have requested to have Your account closed then Breas will delete all personal data within two weeks of the request.
